Gen Z

Apparently Gen Z people will have 17 employers across 5 careers...that is...a lot. Didn't realise I just made the 'cut off' for Gen Y. According to The Project, some people take turns taking care of a combined social media account, and even when one person is showering, the other person has to keep a lookout on the account...Actually the other day at work just talking about life with some customers who asked me how old I was, that was pretty much the first time I had to pause for a sec to think how old I am...almost said 22...ahh, feeling old...they also featured a 22yo coffee on Worth It for $914US, that is at least $1200AU, which costs more than my phone, do people actually buy that?

I'm sure most people would have heard this morning the Harry Potter play is coming to Aus! Well, in 2019...and only in Melbourne...I was hoping to get last minute tickets to see it earlier in London this year, but didn't manage to get the tickets from the nightly lottery draw, and I didn't plan to see it in my itinerary, so was ok that I missed out. It's going to Broadway in 2018 then Melbs in 2019. Sort of reminds me of Les Mis, where it was in Melb in 2014, but I didn't go down to see it, just went to NYC to see that... then the Aus cast made it's way up to Sydney in 2015. I think everyone knows West End and Broadway have better casts since people are more talented than people in Aus, but it's still nice how the production is going to come here. I think it's one of those things where you buy the tickets, then figure out when to take leave/get there after you secure those tickets. Or if you can't make it, other people would be willing to buy it off you I think. I actually haven't read the script yet though...

Funny how coincidentally 2 people asked when I'm graduating today. Well I'm hoping by then I would have the money to splurge just to fly down there to watch an evening show, then probs fly back up the next day...I love to plan, but just really have to get through this year and next year first...

They also finally showed Jamie Oliver's new book/tv series tonight. Not sure why the book is so much cheaper on the Woolies website...So much inspo on healthy food cooking. Although his ingredients in this new series aren't really cheap, they are better quality and healthier, and full of natural colours. Maybe in the holidays...

Still trying to understand how some 5th years who have their oral exam less than a month and reports due in next week can spend time in Vegas/NYC after their placement. I think I would just fly straight back to study and then sightsee another time...

  1. Haha sometimes people are so chill about exams! Like when we have a weeks' break before exams and people travel overseas, how.
