It's funny how one day at a private placement, I've seen more/different cases compared to the last 5 years at uni. Some things you learn at uni but you think you won't see again, then you go to a specialist optom, and it's an average day for them seeing something different or weird in all but one of their patients. I'm also amazed at how some people are willing to pay 3 figures regularly for an eye test, yet the practice is constantly booked out, and need to book one month in advance, and have waiting lists. I guess if you have years of experience, and one of the best in that field, then people will come asking for you. I guess, ideally I would like to 'specialise' in something, but it's gonna be close to impossible in corporate. Oh wells, I just need to focus on graduating tbh.
Not really following the Commonwealth Games, but I'm not surprised when I turn on the tv it's always showing swimming, since Aus dominates swimming in the Commonwealth, but add in America in the Olympics, and we have heaps of competition. It's not as exciting watching the Commonwealth Games, but it does make me miss swimming.
It's already the 2nd week of my study break and I feel like I haven't got any study done. I need to start waking up earlier and sleeping earlier.
This weather is so ridiculous for autumn, feels like summer.
I'm glad you got to see lots! It's crazy how much it can differ from place to place. One day at a time, and you'll be there before you know it! I'm sure God will guide you with regards to specializing or not when it's time.
