After seeing this dessert on Instagram, I finally had the time to trek here for the dessert. It's actually a quick walk from Hyde park, so not too far away from the CBD.

afternoon
We came at around 3.30pm and were told there was only the bar/snack food available which was perfectly fine since we were there for the desserts. The savouries menu is quite over priced if you compare it to Malay street food, but I guess it's presented differently and a modern take on it (well from what I've heard).
ABC: shaved blue pea flower ice, bubur chacham, taro ice-cream-$14
Coming here for this, so more than one photo needed to be taken. It is expensive for the side and for ice which overseas is super duper cheap. From what I heard I was expecting a super tiny dessert, mainly a bowl size slightly bigger than an ice cream scoop. It was small irl, but not as small as I was expecting. The taro flavour was lovely in the ice cream, and not the sweet taro flavour in other ice creams/frozen yogurts. Loved the intensity of the colour as well. The shaved ice was soft yet super cold. Was hoping for more of the other jellies to be in it, since there weren't enough of each type. The flavour of the syrup gave it the right amount of sweetness.
Banana fritter: roasted coconut ice cream, salted caramel-$14
This semlt so good when it came to the table, and we were all pleasantly surprised that a banana fritter could be so delicious. The coconut ice cream is one of the smoothest ice creams I've ever had, and super fragrant and not overly sweet. It did melt quickly, but I guess that's due to the warm sauce and hot deep fried stuff next to it. The banana was deep fried perfectly with super crunchy and not overly floury batter. I normally don't like floury battered stuff, but would be happy to eat the remaining bits of batter pieces for this. Banana inside was soft and not mushy, and everything tied well with the salted caramel with a good consistency.
