Chem Excursion #2

it was quite fun (:

we did pracs on CnM even though we haven't started the topic but thank goodness for tutoring or else i would be sooo completely lost. i didn't get to test for the conc of ions in heavy metal water ):
but we did cool titrations using a metal indicator (i never knew they existed) and it turned a really pretty light pink, then purple, then i overshot it to blue ==
and then there was this other titration, i screwed that as well because i used the pipette filler wrong and it apparently contaminates the solution, but whatever, it was fun.
we also looked at the machines and also when the flame changes colour when metals are passed through. such nice pretty colours unlike our dodgy flame tests using a Bunsen at school...

a guy asked is we were doing any of the pracs at school and the teachers said a straight "no" because they were all toooooooooooooo expensive. it's because of the materials we used and it was the actual proper method to test for the stuff in the water.
so that explained the $30.

a face palming moment: when i put in two magnetic stirrers and it stirred slower than a stirring rod.

and nsw art gallery was uneventful. i've been so many times but never actually walked around the whole thing. a broken statue and ladders put together are considered art nowadays. we just looked at two paintings for chem-waste of time.

i walked so much today.

ahh physics. so screwed. and maths topic test, i'm just gonna wing it (literally, i haven't touched any maths since Friday D=     )

i really like the new song for contemporary, it's very...violiny....
and jazz, it's easy so far....

there's this part in contemp where we literally have to push ourselves on the ground, and i can't do it correctly because of my bad strength (as many of you would know...)

did you know, absorbtion is actually spelt absorption but the verb is spelt absorb. and then there's adsorption and adsorb...
my confusion of the day.

asdfghjkl. stupid tutoring place who have forgotten the minority of people doing Chem of Art and have forgotten to tell us what time we should go this week.

and i woke up early today, and turns out only 5 people were there. i had an internal 5min freakout since i couldn't find anyone and i thought i went to the wrong oval, as in i thought we were supposed to go to the out of the school area oval, so in the end no one turned up..... so the few of us studied phys =D

anddddd

i am soooooo freaking out with the english ict assessment. i can't make videos :( and i don't get what we're supposed to talk about ))))))):
i don't get the task.

Trackwork >:(

now it's my turn to rant about public transport.
so,
at Epping, there was this train that went straight to Central, but it went around to Chatswood, then down to central and passed town hall. then i had to change trains to go back to town hall. and all the times were screwed. so luckily they hadn't started.

and going back was worse. since there were no trains directly to pennant hills/epping, i had to catch a train back to central. and the first one i caught tool me to platform 25 when i walked out. and i'm thinking, i 've never been underground in Central before.
so i had to trek my way back up to the main trains and found a train which went to newcastle but it went the longer way, ie not going through stra, so that wasted 15min. luckily the first stop was epping. and luckily 3pm started a bit later.

it is completely utterly pointless bringing a train timetable during trackwork.

and going there, the train was soooooo fullllll, like kinda hk-ish, that i had to stand and study.

so, i've only studied 1hr physics today. oh dear, i am sooo screwed ): but i had a fun day (:

masterchef, what a weird idea today. it's kind of amazing.

and we had an awkward/funny bible study today about adultery/relationships/intimacy/guy to girl friendships

oh, and i still don't get the story behind the "cock, i am 16" on the cake.

Driving Experiences and Other Experiences...

i drove the Subaru today =D

i can totally feel the difference between an all wheel drive and a normal car.
so i was doing this sharp turn which the recommended speed was 35km/h but i kept at a constant 60km/h because i'm pro. lol jks, it's the car that's good.
and it feels so much smoother and accelerates ever soo muchh faster compared to the old car and can stop faster in a smaller stopping distance.

the thing about driving i don't like is night driving because you can't see if there are any police parked on the side of the road, so if you get caught then gg, unlike daytime where you can slow down if you can see police ahead of you.

because i'm so pro, i have driven four different cars and i'm only i'm my L's (: lol jks, my parents told me to for "good experience"

72hrs =/ behind schedule ):
approx 74 days left to get my P's,  so 48 hours to go and which is about 40min per day.

as if i'm really going to have that time......next time i see my driving instructor, i'm going to hassle him into filling out the forms for the 1 hour =3hours thing.

so,
i think my dad finally got scammed through internet buying. i think the other times while buying electronics he got lucky.
well he bought this GPS it was non-branded except has pretty cool functions and veryveryvery slim. the description said it has red cameras/speed cameras but it actually doesn't and it doesn't connect with the program so when he downloads those camera things, it doesn't show up on the GPS.oh, did i mention, the people were from China
and that is why i don't approve of buying electronic that you have never touched before and not branded over the internet.

i feel so :( atm.....mainly cos of maths....

and haven't done any physics today so extra ):

but the biggest morningtea today seemed quite successful. there were muffin break muffins for a dollar which is like one third of the normal price :S
and i had a massive piece of cake which was completely covered in white chocolate which i didn't finish so i squished it into my box (you know my fruit box) and had to squish it in.....
so much food, and the prices were only 2/1 dollar/ 50cents.

screw maths topic test.
must not come second last in physics.

ok, so i really miss my chem class because:
1. everyone is doing the same thing together
2. when yr 12's have exams you can still learn stuff
3. when yr 11 have exams you have to catch up (or one week i had a private lesson with my teacher during yr12 exams, twas kinda awkward....) which is not good
4. you don't need to miss out on class because of welfare day/what we did yesterday and have to catch up on reallysuperduper hard stuff which i don't get after copying and reading the notes
5. the classes/excursions don't clash with other yr11 exams
basically, if you miss something coz of some yr11 (or yr 10 for last year) activity that day, then you're not the only one.

but it' cool how there are two chem excursions (:

yesterday really reminded me of high resolves, all about leadership. hr was really cool, i kinda miss it...
so hr, i think, is more popular in sydney schools since my bro's school/baulko/girra/ other selective/private and other schools have it. i think y-lead is more popular in brisbane.
so i did a quick check on fb and y-lead has 2913 likes and high resolves has 178 likes. i never knew y-lead was that popular since i've never heard it before....

Y-Lead Leadership Day

that guy was quite inspiring (:
now i want to go Africa. except my main problem is that how am i going to survive a 6day climb up the mountain with different air and freezing weather is i only just survived 2 days of duke of ed..?

our grade is really fail. people run on "set" and don't run on "go"
so the day involved funny dances, little activities and trying to get the whole grade to run under a rope. the guy was full determined that we could do it under 10secs. we had to run under a skipping rope which was about 15mins long and the rope can't touch anyone. ruse did it in 9.8 secs, but they have a smaller grade than us.

in the end after 15+attempts, we failed.
we are the only grade that he has seen fail..i think....

i'm glad that the day didn't involve just the guy talking for 6hours.

but my poor chem double period gone....and this topic is the "make or break topic" and they did so much theory :'( i'm so glad people in my class are nice and let me borrow their books (: except i still don't get it....
our teacher said that chem of art involved the hardest conceptS of the HSC chem course and we had to learn uni stuff to under stand HSC stuff :( (i think i mentioned this before...)

"Spring Into Summer"

well that's what the book depository promo is-and it's extended to Sunday =D
i love how the other half of the world is summer and i can get an extra 10% of the already super cheap prices with free delivery =D i got these books for 36 bucks and they are getting delivered to my door =D sometime soon.....hopefully....rrp is $151 :O

winter.
i love winter.
because my birthday's in winter (: and i think i like my winter clothes more since the two times in my high school life so far, i went to hk when they had winter so i bought quite a lot of winter stuff. but last summer holidays i also got quite nice summer clothes.....well yeh, i used to have more winter clothes so i like winter more, now i think i have equal amounts....

about an hour ago, my dad said there was a police car park across the road, but there was no-one inside :S and my dad came home today from pendle hill, one of the bakeries there coz he was fixing something and brought home heaps of yummy baguettes/ croissants/rolls/ banana bread/sandwiches etcetc

i kinda freaked out today when my mum took my bro out because i looked through our 2 rice cookers/ 2 fridges/ microwave and couldn't find the rice. turns out it was on the stove and she steamed it :SSS

also, i am uncapped (: because i upgraded our internet. now we have 130 (70 on and 60 off)  which is almost triple tp what we had(((: we didn't get the 200gb one cause it doesn't have the 500min phone calling......so this was at 11.45pm last night, well i read the fine print except i didn't check if our contract had finished but upgraded it anyways, so turns out we didn't finish a contract and have to pay an extra 50bucks. but my parents don't mind that since i full complained about how slow the internet was......surprisingly i wasn't tired this morning.

haven't touched physics tonight DDDDD=

i hate wearing mufti in this muddyish weather because if i wear nice shoes then they are going to be destroyed. i bet i'm going to spend 15mins deciding on what to wear ):
